I will be raising awareness on behalf of people with disabilities by running in the 2011 Marine Corps Marathon.
This is the fourth year Push America has been a charity partner. I have committed to raising $1500. This will end up having an amazing impact for people with disabilities all across the nation. I have supported Push America before in Gear Up Florida, where I biked across the State of Florida from Miami to Tallahassee and raised over $2300 to raise awareness and support people with disabilities. I have also participated in Push Camp, a week long volunteer effort where I helped build an accessible deck and assisted in other improvement at camp ASSCA.
I am very proud of my past volunteering efforts and I am very excited about the Marine Corps Marathon. This is my second marathon and I hope to train very hard and beat my previous time. I look forward to blogging about how my training and fundraising and I thank you in advance for your support!
